What exactly is the difference between the different Virgin Money accounts?

Virgin Money has created several differently named & linked current/savings accounts such as:
Club M Saver
M Plus Saver
M Saver
From a distance they all look the same. So what exactly is the difference between them and which (if any) is the best option to go for?

As you know, none of these accounts can be opened without a pre-requisite current account, and all of the savings accounts offer the same rates. Which of the current accounts suits you depends on your circumstances / your preferences. At a guess, the M Plus is likely to be the most popular but some people only qualify for the M, and some would prefer the Club M.

The M current account is a basic bank account with limited features
The M Plus is a full featured current account with no monthly fee.
The Club M is a packaged account with a monthly fee of £14.50 for various insurance benefits.

The linked savings accounts are effectively all the same.

Virgin Money provide all of this information and more on their website. See on the link below.

I expect the differentiation is to allow their features to differ in future (i.e. earn more interest with the paid for account).

I hadn’t realised that Virgin offered a ‘Private’ current bank account for £25 month until I looked at the link above.  Doesn’t seem particularly good value though.
