LG TVs Lip Sync

I bought an LG TV (UP8100) back in November 2021 from Richer Sounds. I have found the picture very good indeed, WebOS pretty good and responsive, with a wide selection of apps. HOWEVER, sound synchronisation issues are driving me crazy. By and large, it's OK on broadcast (satellite) TV, but sound is often 30ms out of sync…

I had this with a brand new LG TV about 2 years ago. I don't recall the model number. Once I had noticed it was out of sinc it drove me mad. It seemed to be ok on some channels, worse on some and really bad on others. I think I did speak with LG tec but ended up returning it for a full refund. I wasn't sure if was something to do with upscaling on the TV but it wasn't acceptable to me for a brand new TV. Good luck.
