What makes you think that you've upset him?
Did you say anything to him?

We haven’t said anything to them but the act of throwing our toys out the pram in a rather almighty way. We are very frustrated by their 360 turn on now not breaking the chain.

by being stroppy I’m just worried he won’t sell to us!

Perhaps the vendor has struggled to find a suitable rental property. Saying something is easy. Actually doing it far more challenging.

Totally appreciate that had they been going into rented. They weren’t planning to do that.

the point I’m making here is that I’m now worried we’ve upset them rather a lot by becoming frustrated with the situation.

My friend was in danger of losing her buyer, and offered her vendor £5K towards going into rented.  Is it worth trying this?

  • Do you mean that the simple act of going to see another property may have upset the seller? Did you tell the estate agent who may have passed what you said onto the seller?

If you've not said anything to them then how have you upset them? If you went to go and see another house how are they going to know? Was it with the same estate agents? If so, it's not really something the estate agent is going to share with them either as they want to jolly the sale along. Not sure how you have upset anyone?

just by viewing another property? I think you need to keep your terminolgy, and reactions, in perspective.

How were they proposing to break the chain?
