DCBL - Final notice of Debt Recovery

Hi
In the last month I have received two letters from DCBL, one being a final reminder and recently Final notice. The original PCN was issued in July 2019 and after following advice from this forum I had been ignoring the letters which continued until January 2020 (from SCS) The letters/notices received have been from UKPC, Debt Recovery Plus, Zenith Collections and SCS. The latest two are from DCBL.
Therefore there has been over two year gap between SCS and DCBL starting up notices again.
Once again I seek your advice on whether to take this serious and whether they will continue to press to a court case etc.
Thanks in advance.

Is this DCB LTD? If so, debt collector and not concerning,
    .
Always be ready for a proper Letter before Claim/Letter of Claim. Maybe from DCB LEGAL. Do not ignore one of those, and in the meantime read the Newbies so that you know what to do if one does arrive.
The pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.

Ignore DCAs you owe the PPC nothing unless a judge says you do.  Have you complained to your MP
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • Hi Trainerman/D_P_Dance
    Thank you for your responses.
The latest "Final Notice of Debt Recovery" is from DCBL (Limited).

The letter states that as we have not paid then they will recommend to their client to commence legal action against us, which would incur further costs.

As for complaining to MP - no not as yet. Is there any standard blurb on the forum to use?

I will take a look at the newbies thread as stated.

So for now are you saying unless it's from DCB Legal then do nothing.

    Thank you

Just DCBL; "ON THE TRAIL OF THE LONESOME PINE" ... UKPC AGAIN

If you get a letter before claim then come back here.

Are DCBL successful in their debt collection ?   They are geting spanked by judges  for claims that are rubbish and simply copy and paste

Don't take any notice of the ""can't pay" junk on their letterhead ...... Two of their so called bailiffs are suing them dor £200k    Watch this space ?

A letter before claim will add FAKERY , DCBL know it's fakery  and then they play the fakery card

Did you mean to post on your own thread or have you changed your user name and you are now @Help001?
  • Following previous posts I have now received a letter from DCB legal ltd nearly 8 months after receiving my last letter from DCBL. Apparently I have thirty days to either make payment, if not a claim will be issued? Do I continue to ignore. This is becoming rather painful and stressful as to whether we pay or ignore these people. Your assistance would be appreciated.

Write your response to the Letter of Claim as described in the first few paragraphs of the second post of the NEWBIES thread.

This is NOT to be paid even if a claim arrives!

Surely this latest letter is in fact from DCB Legal not DCB Ltd, and is headed up as a LBC?
A stage fully explained in the NEWBIES thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
