Question about checking My Credit File

I recently had a problem with Virgin Mobile regarding my monthly direct debit. For some reason it was cancelled by Virgin Mobile and the monthly payment was obviously not taken. I want to check my Credit File to make sure its not showing a missed payment. I know I need to check my credit files that are held with Experian and Equifax are there any other credit agencies I should also check.

Why ?You're probably better to start your own thread rather than resurrect one that's well over 2 years old. That aside, what do you mean you got 100% acceptance? Is that what the CRAs indicated? If so, you need to remember that the CRAs have no visibility of a particular lender's acceptance criteria. Their assessment of your "credit-worthiness" is, at best, an extremely rough-and-ready guesstimate.Using a lender's own eligibility checker will usually give a slightly better indication, as they do at least know what their own particular lending criteria are. Though you won't get a guaranteed acceptance/refusal until you submit an application and they do a hard search on your file. But common reasons for refusal are any negative flags on your record (defaults, late payments, etc.), not being registered on the Electoral Roll, unstable address history, or simply affordability - your level of existing/expected debt in relation to your income.Check all three of your CRA reports to make sure there are no negative marks reported. If everything is in order then try a few eligibility checks, then go for a full application on the one that gives you the strongest likelihood of acceptance. But if you get refused again, leave it a few months before trying again. Lenders start to get jittery if they see a lot of hard searches in quick succession.
