I also like Douwe Egberts, but Nescafe Gold Alta Rica is my favourite. I won't pay full price for it, but it's regularly on offer in the main supermarkets and sometimes as a special in Lidl.
You can get nescafe gold alta rica in Farmfoods 2 for £9. Lasts ages.
That's quite pricey - I stock up when it's on offer at £3 a jar in Lidl.

Douwe Egberts Gold (it is strength 3/5) and the Decaf (strength 3) - I drink this in favour of the fresh ground coffee available for free at work, because DE Gold is so good!
You can often find it cheaper than full price at one supermarket or other if you shop around.  I get a big jar, so it's cheaper and gives me time to find where it's going cheap before I run out.  Decent jar too, so keeps very well.
Do you mean the 400g jar? BM sells it for about £10.

Occasionally the 190g jars retail for less than £5, which is when I stock up.

So much to read, so little time.

Depends on whether it is a standard or big jar - my local co-op often has the big jars for £5 (down from £8), so if farmfoods are doing those at 2 for £9 on offer, its a good deal...

My food cupboards are full of recycled Douwe Egburts jars containing rice, lentils, sultanas etc. Luckily I managed to amass enough of them from our favourite instant before someone bought us a coffee machine and we changed to ground coffee.

    would've . . . could've . . . should've . . .

What do you mean by "full size" is it the 95g jar or the larger 190g jar?

At home, we don't drink instant. I buy organic beans and grind them for a French press or buy ground. Also my fave French coffee, from French Click.

Husband has a clever car gadget, which is a plug-in 12v travel mug and it boils water in abt 2 mins. I buy him Waitrose organic instant coffee and Clipper Latin American organic instant coffee when it's on offer. He likes both of them, a lot.
