Nescafe have changed their recipe and I don't like it so I need some ideas, what's your favourite?

    I moved to Douwe Egberts a few years ago and much prefer it.  I tend to buy DE Pure Gold and Pure Decaf for later in the day.

    I used to like Nescafe Gold Blend Intense but have migrated to Douwe Egberts too - Pure Indulgence.  I like my coffee dark and strong!

    Have they ? Or have you bought some non-UK product that doesn't have the same taste profile ?

    I like DE Gold but was surprised to find I like Bellarom Gold (Lidl) just as much.

    It’s funny as I have moved to Nescafé since they now do smooth which I love so I am a Nescafé smooth convert, I have a friend who is a Nescafé espresso person so it’s really Down to individual taste

    What do people find is the best for coffee cake making? I am not a coffee drinker and use Carte D'Or but is there a cheaper version that is strong enough?

    I use camp coffee liquid x

    Lidl. Costs about £2 for c200g so about 1/3 of the standard price of DE.
