Afternoon - just seen that it's TA's birthday too... had it in my mind that it was on 14th
not sure I'm not going a bit loopy.
Happy Birthday TA, it sounds like you'll be having a lovely time with family. In DM's diary for 12 March 1946 the entry says 'small package from HS with pilchards! Food features heavily in her diary.11 -
Afternoon all, dry, chilly and windy today. Tired - 2 days running being out and about is energy zapping, kicked myself into action to get some bits from the greengrocers, it helps me clock up a walk of about a mile, then a short one to come with DDog, who now reminds me when a certain time comes around in the afternoon.
Happy birthday wishes to Izzy and TA and virtual hugs to NRA Poppy pleased your hot water supply is now sorted.
I need to sort something for tea, should have been making Chicken Chasseur in the SC, but OH was taking up the kitchen space, may make it ready for tomorrow and dig some yummy breaded Cod out of the freezer.
Take care everyone. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)12 -
Gers, I imagine everyone would be obsessed with food after the privations they suffered.
Talking of which I've got a big pot of chilli on the go and I'll use some to make enchiladas for dinner with salad, yum.12 -

Happy Birthday to Izzy and TA.
Been quite a nice day here - had another one indoors - know I will be out for the next 4 days in a row.
Did some work on the order for 14 bunny packs but cutting out 56 ear parts gets a bit boring.
Going to cook Frikadellen burgers for dinner - will do some roasted veggies in oil and balsamic vinegar plus need to make a cake. - will do a tray bake that I portion into 18 slices.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
