Morning all. Quite warm and sunny so far, was absolutely chucking it down yesterday. Made it to see the physiotherapist, got given a slot at the hydroptherapy pool, better get myself a cozzie. Out for a 60th tonight, again, I have that I don't-want-to-go feeling that will be probably be ok when I'm there. No plans until we go out, lazy day playing computer games probably...poppy, the rocket should be OK outside, it's tough as old boots, mine's been going strong outside through the winter..Have a lovely day TA and Izzy, hope you really enjoy yourselves!Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi12

Morning all, just lost my post somewhere 😡 so this is a short version. Oi ! I can hear all your sighs of relief from here 😂
Today I will do the hoovering as I did shake myself and do the dusting yesterday, oooo get me ! The recently dried clothes are sitting in a pile like the leaning tower of Pisa, so they need to be sorted and put away properly. Mr Fix It has booked himself in for a hair cut later, his hair looks like Doc Emmett Brown at present 😬 This afternoon is a toss up between doing the ironing and my jigsaw, wonder which will win ? 😏 Tea tonight will be something simple, perhaps sausage and chips?
Hope everyone has a good Saturday
Izzy Happy Birthday, hope you have a lovely day 🎂
Scarlett step away from the crafting stuff, I too find it lethal to go in there, I always come out with more than I went in for, ooops !
TA Happy Birthday lovely lady, have a great day 🎂 Hope I've got the day right ?

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. I'm with you at last. Thanks for the good wishes and a happy birthday to IZZY too. It's been a busy morning with cards and pressies to open and neverending family WhatsApp messages to read. Got some lovely gifts already and both DS and DD are calling around lunchtime bearing more gifts. Then the 2 DGDs are coming straight from dance for late lunch, tea and sleepover. A busy day! Middle DGD doesn't like cake (don't know where she gets that from!) so we are having treacle sponge and custard after tea instead of cake! Weird that she likes puddings but not cake! That's now in the pudding basin ready to put on to steam later - the trusty BeRo recipe that I have been using since the early 70's when first married.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all in need of them. Thinking of NRA and her dad. Take care one and all, stay safe x"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"13 -
Hi everyone,
Happy birthday TA and Izzy.
Well, I'm a happy bunny. Steve has vacuumed the whole house, apart from the dining room, which he didn't do because he was doing it in the nude and the room is overlooked from the road. We've been having a debate about the fence at the back. It isn't ours but the bloke at the back planted a leylandii hedge on his side so can't see it, not to mention that we think he may have dementia or something like that. The posts have rotted although the fence itself is ok and Steve is talking about trying to repair it himself (he's done all our fencing in the past). I want to get someone in to either repair or replace it, it's not that I don't think he's capable it's just that I really don't want all the hassle and struggle now.
After a hiatus when I've been sorting out the new sewing room I finally got started on some actual sewing. I can't believe how much easier it is having a cutting table at the right height, I was able to do a lot of cutting without any back pain at all, usually I have to stop or sit down which makes cutting much harder.
I decided that we would order in one of the at home meals done by a good restaurant for my birthday celebration next weekend. I couldn't decide what to do and didn't want to be in the kitchen for hours so this is a good compromise. My birthday is actually Thursday but all the kids will be coming over on Sunday.
Laura is at College all weekend so Brian is in charge. Apparently if he doesn't respond quickly enough when Esben calls Daddy Esben starts shouting "Brian", probably in Laura's exasperated tone of voice.
Have a good day.

Morning all and Happy Birthday wishes to TA and Izzy, enjoy your special day.
Not long after I posted yesterday the sun decided to do a runner and we had drizzle for the rest of the day, so it wasn't two fine days in a row after all.Today is dull although it's supposed to stay dry. We'll see.
I'm not sure what's on the cards for today, I'm in one of those can't be bothered moods and there's nothing urgent needs doing. DH will be watching the rugby this afternoon so I'll probably do a bit of gentle pottering at whatever takes my fancy. Scarlet's mention of haberdashery has planted a seed in my mind that I could perhaps have a sort through of my stash.
Have a good weekend all, stay safe and well. Best wishes to any poorlies or worrieds. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.12 -

Afternoon everyone
Had a very poor sleep thanks to a very wriggly little girl climbing into my bed in the early hours. 'Why are you being so grumpy my granny?' she asked at one point...when I was trying to ignore her.
Never mind, we walked down to soft play for 9 and she ended up having a brilliant time till 11.30. I had to go in with her at first, while she got over her fear of a wavy slide, but then she found a little boy to play with so I got a cup of tea.
It was quite badly organised - she should have been in for a hour and a half but there was no one checking so I just let her stay in. They will have to be a bit better organised by the time the holiday makers arrive....maybes they're not really sticking to the times when it's mainly locals using it.
Little one was very impressed that there was music playing in the toilet - we had a dance!
I've got my bedding on the line blowing wildly - unfortunately her tummy tube came undone and leaked all over my bed. Hopefully it will dry before it rains.
Planning a lazy afternoon - may start a new book.
Happy Birthday TA and Izzy
Hope everyone has a good day x
