Actually, if we are right about no conditions prior to 6pm, then you did nothing wrong and there was no reason for a PCN.

Thank you Trainerman and Coupon-Mad. All your replies have certainly made me think I have a reason to fight. I had thought I might take them on, simply as the PCN annoyed me, but hopefully, as you say, I have a perfectly workable defence.
I certainly don’t want to fund the scammers.
This is the 3rd time I have tried to reply to the previous posts, so apologies if all 3 suddenly appear, I haven’t meant to overly respond to this!

Are you sure? I would be putting the claimant to strict proof that the keypad was working on the day and would not be blaming myself for the failure of their equipment!toebeans said:
