Apart from 3 who I have been having roaming problems with who is good for roaming in the USA, either included in the contract or as a one-off addon at a reasonable price £10-20 for a month say?
I have searched and am continuing to search for this myself but it is difficult to wade through all the t&c's.

Thanks

Is a SIM from a US provider an option?
If you need to use your current number while in US, this would require a dual SIM mobile.

Or an eSIM (if you have a compatible mobile)?

The service that 3 sell works perfectly, it's just in practice it doesn't always work and apart from 'yes that is something I can surely help you with' their support is a waste of time.
I had thought of just using another UK mobile network and it doesn't have to be free for roaming but I'm not paying £5/day, £10-20 for a holiday would work and I think is fair.

It is important that the service works on arrival, experience tells me ordering an Uber with patchy wifi is stressful!

My phone can use an eSim and maybe I should look at that.

EE have their roam abroad pass for £10 a month. Cost is prorated depending on how many days you actually have the pass added.

How long are how frequently are you abroad?
