Yes I can handle computers, but not as tech as many. Have heard a small amount about IPTV. Can someone put me wise. What is it, is it safe, is it (generally) legal. Am thinking footie to my laptop.

Am thinking footie to my laptop. Its basically a variation on streaming is what it boils down to.Streaming services like Netflix, Prime, Disney+ are streaming services. The only real difference between IPTV and these services is that you pick, I dunno, Shrek 2 from Disney+ and it plays it. IPTV is probably closer to the live stream implementation on the iPlayer, except its wrapped in iPlayer packaging.0

thanks Neil. Sooogle may be good, but the website they show may be bad.0

Further info please. I seem to have made some wrong turnings.
Firstly as I understand it with IPTV there are at least two choices. With a box, or with an app on your computer.
2 months ago was approached by what I could tell IPTV Smarters pro. They offered football for premiership, and "IFollow" matches.
I downloaded the app and had two free matches. So happy I paid £30.00 for three months. The first four weeks were fine, and then the app wouldn't work. Then i noticed my contact had "gone".
Please rest assured I got my moneys worth, but cannot see any further football. A few emails to what pertains to be "IPTV smarter pro", have gone unanswered. This suggests to me the link may have been via a "third party", who just cleverly played piggy back. The bank details are different.
Am i inadvertently being hoodwinked "in all innocence", or have the company changed details? It's not so easy online to know if what shows is genuine.
I note Google play reportedly have stopped supporting their app, since their existence. If possible i would like to continue with IPTV, but only legally.
Any feedback appreciated.0 -
As a general rule if it involving streaming live football and it wasn't from a proper channel/outlet, it was almost certainly an illegal rebroadcast and they just got caught.2

Oops, thanks for the feedback Neil, appreciate it. So where are the good guys of IPTV that i gather are out there?0

Not sure what you mean by good guys , there are streaming service providers that you pay for the content that they have the rights to show ( Disney, Netflix etc ) and pirates that ‘steal’ others content and sell it , but ultimately it’s a gamble for anyone going down this route, irrespective of charges per month or one off lump sum , getting content this way comes without a guarantee, you obviously have no consumer rights etc, someone could get flawless service , someone else could pay ££’s and it works for 5 minutes , the rights holder and ISP’s obviously are going to try to disrupt piracy0
