Looked everywhere to post this could not find the right place so trying here

I need 3 keys cut the Chubb/brass type for ERA lock, 5 lever door lock
We went to B&Q the automated machine not working. They do three for 12 pounds.

How much does Timposons charge please as the  nearest store is a distance from us and dont want to pay more than
I can.

How much do they charge for a ladies watch batter just a standard watch, water-resistant not ultra-slim etc cost about 70 pounds

The Timpsons site does not even give an indicator for prices

Could also be worth googling "keycutting near me" if you haven't already: it's possible you'll find an independent with competitive prices. And the advantage of them over DIY (which I didn't even know was a possibility!) is that if you find the new keys are not perfect they will 'adjust' them for you until they are.

The cost of the watch is no indicator for the price of the battery, but under a tenner in most cases.

You might find a locksmith better for keys.

My sincere apologies before anything else. The same day I rang their HQ and was advised they had local store phone numbers. My fault and sorry to have wasted your time. I was going to post but got a phone call and forgot.

From memory its 9.50p a key if you have a key and another can be copied and if not as some high secuirty keys come with numbers it may be more. The 2nd and subsequent keys  are 3-50 or 4-50 cant recall

The watch battery for a standard lady's watch is 18-50.

My bold, Eye watering price that but I suppose depends where & when, beggars V choosers etc but they have businees to run with overheads so maybe it's a fair price for the service

I know my local Timpsons, lurking inside Morrisons, did a good job for £30 with my car key when it fell to bits with springs etc everywhere, versus the "How Much!" quotes from elsewhere

The watch battery price Is probably the ‘lifetime’ replacement one.  They will replace the battery for free each time for as long as you own the watch but it is expensive compared to one off replacement.

I took the back off my wife's watch yesterday using a kitchen knife

Found the battery was an AG4

I have 5 x AG4 in a pack I bought from my local pound shop.

Replaced battery, clicked the back back and it now works.

If I have to do this frequently it's still minimal cost. However the last battery I put in my watch has lasted two years and counting
