Morning y’all! (Actually, for you, definitely afternoon!),

 We’re roadtripping today from Nashville to New Orleans, so thought I’d pop on while Mr MV is driving.

We are having a fabulous time here - honkytonking (Yes, it’s a verb), horse riding (including galloping, even for the newbie - Mr MV) and the Grand Ole Opry last night. Sad to say goodbye to Nashville, but onto New Orleans now.

In money news though, it is extremely expensive here!! A combination of terrible exchange rates (great for me normally with work) and inflation means nothing is cheap and then there’s a tip on top. Mr MV has said it’s fine as he saves a lot each month, so if we miss a month it’s not the end of the world, but still! 

Don’t get me started on the plastic waste or lack of solar (temps have been over 30 every day, so plenty of potential) - I paid $40 for dinner the other night and it was served with plastic cutlery! 😡

So in summary, no money saving here, but a great time being had.

PS the upper class flight was amazing - the only way to travel 😂😂 oh dear! 😮

Sounds brilliant 🤩. I once got upgraded to upper class travelling to US on my own with work and it was so amazing…
