Sounding good, Vix, and the turtledoves are fascinating - I may have bookmarked them in my shopping folder
Your holiday is so close now! Very exciting! Ideal for the earnings to go up a bit too.2023: the year I get to buy a car6 -
Afternoon all,
Sorry SC, they are very good at advertising! 😂
We’ve had a trial pack this morning and established that we do need a bigger case (currently we have a spacious (IT luggage) cabin bag and a borrowed one from my mum that’s the next size up). I have ordered from eBay - £47.99 (we could have borrowed but as we actually only have the cabin-sized bag and a hold-all each, another case would generally be a good idea).
Since then, we’ve made a lot of progress in the garden- new raised bed is finished, the patio has partially emerged from under the piles of soil (sieved into raised beds), both lawns cut, pond vacuumed, litter trays washed and generally tidying up. We have a rather spontaneous and indulgent supermarket delivery coming shortly with charcoal and bbq bits (ordered yesterday, not *that* indulgent that it was Uber/Deliveroo!). Looking forward to that.
Think we’re going to the in-laws to work on the other mini tomorrow and then we’re both going to work on Monday so that we can keep up.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Afternoon all,
A very lazy Sunday here in the end. We didn’t go to the in-laws as we decided there wasn’t that much to do there and it wouldn’t be easy while trying to keep our distance. We have returned/renewed library books (travel books) and I had to go into the building to do so (had reached maximum renewals), but wore an ffp2 mash and no one came near me anyway. I’ve just made some biscuits and a crumble (oven is full to bursting!) and we’re having cauliflower laksa for dinner. Mr MV is playing some PlayStation… just nice and chilled.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Anytime Jess! 😁 The biscuits are very good - Toll house yoyos by Dan Lepard (they have chocolate, custard powder and blitzed oats in them).Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Mr MV has just booked us tickets to see Liam Gallagher at Knebworth in June - didn’t realise he was playing there until I saw something on social media! (Mr MV saved a post-Covid fun fund while we were in lockdown). The MSE part is we bought resale tickets, so £58 each instead of £75. Much more in alignment with what seems reasonable for gig tickets!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Hello. Just catching up with everyone and discover you have a new diary MV. Glad all is well in your world but I might need to read the not moving story on your old diary. The biscuits sound yummy x6
