I too love mine and have it running all night. It's not too pricey to run and I struggle to get out of bed with all this delicious heat coming through.Am a bit concerned about long-term exposure to the magnetic field but will take my chances. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.1 -
Lifematters said:I’m thinking of buying one to use while working from home. If it saves on the heating will be cost effective. Not that I can ever have the central heating on for too long anyway as it just drys out my eyes.6

I was given one for Christmas and I love it.2

I’ve just ordered one for all of us on the back of this thread, in an attempt to be able to not use the heating much next year. Cannot wait for delivery!1

I've been looking for one too but does any0one know if you can get a 'double' throw with only one controller/plug?
it would be great to be able to snuggle on the sofa together but the house doesn't have many plug sockets.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott
It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.0 -
I ordered mine a couple days ago and got next day delivery.
I've not needed to plug it in yet as so warm and snuggly without the heat!

Mine was a genuine question if anyone is able to comment. Would 25kg of bull terrier plonked on top knacker the the electrics? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I don't see why 25kg of dog on top of a blanket would do any more damage than more than 25kg of person but i guess it might depend on if your dog is a digger or if their the type of dog to circle and lie down without digging. i know someone who has a cat who loves the blanket no problem but the cat needing at the blanket is up and down and doesnt bend the wires iyswimAlmost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. He’s a fidgetter. I was pondering whether as they’re called over blankets, they’re designed to stand much of any sort of weight on top. I wasn’t thinking people would be sitting on them. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I'd reach out to a manufacturer, my concern would be more from chewing. is it low voltage?0
