Just installed an update and now it says:
"Protection is inactive with our free version
One or more security recommendations are available"
and it wants quite a few things switched on.
Has anyone else had this happen please?
Should I just uninstall it?

The free version requires you to do manual scans.Which is better on the whole.1

I always do manual scans, but that doesn't seem to be an option now. I can't understand what has happened. It usually updates okay.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -

Would like to try re-installing the free version, which is the best site to download it from? There used to be one that was recommended on here, but I can't remember what it is called.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -

Each time I am told there is a Malwarebytes program update (each couple of months or so), I allow it to install, and it gives me 30 days (I think) of the premium features (dynamic scanning, etc) which you can obtain 'permanently' by paying for it.After the 30 days, these premium features cease to be available, and you are left with just the manual "threat scan", which many people find quite adequate.2

There used to be one that was recommended on here, but I can't remember what it is called. You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

Today the install gave 14day trial and scheduled a scan for ~2:300
