Yes that is correct - 6 years from opening the account, 3 years from knowing, or when you could reasonably have known you had reason to complain which includes closing the account and other thingsSandtree said:
From vague memory the FOS limit is 3 years from when you realised you had ground for complaint (or should have) and 6 months from the final response from the financial institute... exceptional circumstances are required to adjust either.Sncjw said:

As such a financial institute will be on a hiding to nothing if they try to block complaints before that.0
