Unless you've screen-shotted it it will be well-nigh impossible to prove what you were or were not offered, particularly if it was months ago.
Companies used to say clearly "up to 9 months 0% interest." I've also seen MSE specify when that isn't the case, by saying this will not be reduced, if you qualify you will get the full 9 months.0 -
I ran a search and based on my criteria it is still there…
9 months 0% purchase, but that is irrelevant now as it is 6 months
it is misleading in my eyes

it is misleading in my eyesIt would be interesting to see a screen shot of the relevant details - in particular, any "small print" that may be included. That aside, I don't find it hard to believe that you found the advert misleading. A lot of what the CRAs say is misleading - such as harping on about credit scores and utilisation percentages. End of the day, they're a business, and if they can lure people in by being a bit "economical" with the facts, they'll give it a go - it's all extra profit for them :-)0 -

They do provide a valuable service to lenders, in the form of consolidated credit data, upon which the lenders base their lending decisions. And this is how the CRAs make their money - by selling the data to lenders. But if they can try and gain a bit of extra revenue from selling unnecessary services to consumers, or by earning commission by steering people towards certain products - well, fair do's, they're a business at the end of the day, and their sole aim is to make money, just like any other business.

I only asked because it is relavent as say 6 months down the line may be out of the time to complain about it.
Also the date the 0 percent offer would expire would be on the statements and also paper work that they got on signing up for it. Obviously don't read their statements.Mortgage free wannabe
Actual mortgage stating amount £75,150
Overpayment paused to pay off cc
Starting balance £66,565.45
Current balance £58,108
Cc around 8k.0 -

The balance can be paid off, it just requires a large chunk of a lump sun than usual thats all.Unless you work in a bank and can offer useful information rather than what you stated above🤷♂️0 -

As such a financial institute will be on a hiding to nothing if they try to block complaints before that.0
