That is just the same as a online request. Computer to computer.
OP sent theirs in the post. Which requires human intervention. It has been well published the issues they had due to covid & people still mailing stuff to them despite being told not too. Leading to large piles of unopened sacks of mail. Then the staff strikes due to unsafe working in the office.
You have to wonder if some sacks have been sat waiting elsewhere to be delivered to the DVLA & got lost.Apply to change your name or address on your driving licence working date 6 January 2022
