Just an update , Went to the local Primary Care centre with a friend ,whilst there asked about an updated Vacc Cert and was told to phone 119 and request a new one ,have done that  and should have it in about 5 days so should have paper copy and phone for back up ,will return and update when they arrive.
The first generation form we got through NHS Scotland in 2021 was valid for 12 months, at that point we'd had had only the two jabs.
That was downloaded and printed off with their provided username (via the mail) and password, the latter could be changed by the patient.
After the booster was given I went back to the same website and the subsequent paperwork indicated  a reduced 3 months validity - and only included a record of the 2nd vaccination and the follow up booster.
I'm just wondering if NHS Scotland used a different administrative procedure from the rest of the UK ?
We can access the most up to date paper form online on demand.
Unfortunately a lot of punters did not keep a record of their username - which did cause problems - as it meant 'phone calls to retrieve.

Thanks for the reply ,i am sure i read on this forum that the Vacc Cert only shows your last 2 vaccines ,our first one which was posted out by the NHS showed our first two jabs as that was all we had at the time BUT if we go on the NHS App it shows all 3 jabs.
I know we can try and print off the App but as i am one of those that likes everything in paperwork format at the airport i thought a proper certificate would speed things up at Newcastle and Gran Canaria although the way things are going we might not need them shortly.

The one you print from the app is also 'paperwork' and I always print mine off for travel to avoid having to fiddle with my phone. However, it was barely even looked at on my recent trips.

Incidentally the one printed off at home shows all 3 doses, with the dates you had them and also the type you were given.
Thanks for the info ,how do you manage to connect a printer to your phone? as you can probably guess i am no technophobe  :)

I did once manage to send it through wi fi - but only managed it once! (non techie here)  Now I take a non techie approach and download it to my phone then email it to my PC and print from there. I printed off one for a friend recently after she emailed one to me as she didn't have a printer.

I also printed off the passenger locator forms going outward but had to show it on my phone on way home.
I have done exactly the same ,opened the app, sent it to my e - mail address ,opened my computer ,found my mail ,opened it and printed the document ,did the same for my wifes so job done ,pleased we did not travel today as the weather in the Canaries has been awefull.
We’ve been home from Gran Canaria for a week now, previous to that in January we were in Tenerife. On both occasions we had some of the best weather we’ve ever had out there at this time of year. Long hot sunny days and no rain at all. Friends that remained out there for an extra week remarked that the weather changed in their second week and became cloudier and more overcast - so it looks like we were very lucky.

In previous years we’ve had several days of rain in both Lanzarote and Furtuventurer

Your last jab ( or booster ) must be less than 270 days ago to enter Spain

At least 14 days must have passed since being fully vaccinated (with both doses of a 2-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine) before arrival in Spain. Your date(s) of vaccination must be specified and your final dose must have been administered within 270 days prior to travel to Spain. If you completed your vaccination (with both doses of a 2-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine) more than 270 days prior to travel to Spain, you must be able to show proof of having received a booster jab. There is no requirement for 14 days to have passed between receiving your booster jab and entering Spain. Booster jabs can be administered at any time prior to travel to Spain.

I  didn't think there was a 270 day restriction after having the booster

Just an update the new Vacc Certs came today ,i dose state that the bar code expires after 30 days but this will be fine as we will be home by then.
So we now have official copies ,printed off copies and the app on our phones so we now have belt and braces ,knowing our luck they will not be needed come monday when we travel.
Thanks to all who have supplied info.

That’s not correct. There is no time limit for the booster.

I found the GOV.UK guidelines a bit unclear on that aspect.
As I understand it, if your 2nd (of 2), or 1 off only dose of the vaccine were more than 270 days ago you need a booster - which can be administered at any time after that 270 day limit is reached, and at any time thereafter before you travel.
You can't travel to Spain less than 14 days after having the 2/2 or 1/1 doses - that scenario is unlikely now as most punters will have had their initial round of jabs in 2021.

The wording is perhaps a bit clumsy but what it boils down to is that you're OK anytime after a booster or between 14 and 270 days of completing your original 1/1 or 2/2 doses.

That's it - well translated from the GOV.UK advice - clumsy is correct.
