Morning, a couple of quick questions before I send the WS bundle.
- noticed that the PCN (the actual ticket) only the issue date and time is reported (no "first seen" info is filled in) and pictures are taken mere seconds after the issue). Do you think is worth adding that this is not legitimate, as the warden do not seem to have checked properly before issuing the PCN?
- to submit the bundle to DB Legal is it sufficient an email attachment (bccinh me) or should I send guaranteed delivery next day by 1PM (deadline is Thursday 12th January)? Or should I send one email to both court and DB Legal with the attachment?
TIA0 -
E-mail is fine (better) and, as you suggest one e-mail to both and then, if the court receive theirs, it is more difficult for the claimant to say they "never received it"! Do not use next day delivery or any service that requires a signature, as, if they refuse to sign for it, they have perfect evidence of non-receipt - not what you want!3

Immediate ticketing is predatory, unfair and gives a driver no time to understand signs & terms = no contract agreed.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks All. About to send it via email. Shall I attach also a copy of the defence or is it not necessary?
Also, if I want to rely on my husband as a lay representative shall I include his fixed costs too in the WS?
TIA0 -
Defence not necessary to repeat (ASSUMING YOU ALREADY SENT ONE?) and lay rep's costs almost certainly won't be granted, sorry.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks. Submitted the WS Bundle a few minutes ago. Got automatic confirmation from the Court but not from DCB Legal. Is it something I should worry/should do something about?Coupon-mad said:Defence not necessary to repeat (ASSUMING YOU ALREADY SENT ONE?)Coupon-mad said:and lay rep's costs almost certainly won't be granted, sorry.
Thanks a lot! Will keep you posted on how it goes.2 -

I added them there, just in case.A good idea! if the Judge decides the Claimant acted 'wholly unreasonably' then further costs do come into play (very rare).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Le_Kirk said:If you sent one e-mail to Court and DCB, then you should be fine as it is unlikely to have been delivered to one recipient and not the other and you can show the court that you sent it. So often we read about claimants who claim that they "never received the defendant's WS".
Thanks!1 -
Good afternoon,
Browsing the forum I have seen that some people submitted also a skeleton argument to the court before the hearing.
Is it a good practice to do? Is normally the deadline the same as the WS or can it be submitted later?
