Well that weekend went quickly, i spent £8 on a burger and chips for dd at the weekend when we were out and £3 at her club, also £75 on a full tank of petrol so i am hoping it should see me for most of the month!Today i treated myself to a sandwich, £3.80 spent as its my birthday tomorrow, my cheque came, £100 and is deposited should be clear in 2 days. Oh said i shouldn't just spent it on debt so i brought myself 3 pairs of jeans and a new bag, all from V!nted, £21 spent the rest can help me get through this month then any left over will go on debts.I have called supermarket about wild substitutions, £20 gift voucher for my next shop.and my shopping came to £171 so i still have £129 in my pot for food this month and the voucher on top. I will do an online shop for next weeks fresh stuff later in the week.Tomorrow were having a takeaway for my treat, oh is paying. I have got washing next ready to come out and the tea is already in will have a nice bath later.Feel like i have been productive since getting home from work which is a nice change in the week!0

The voucher did come in handy i got this weeks shopping with it, spent £21 cash and completely topped up for the week taking my total monthly spends to £192 and I have £108 left for the month with 2 weeks left, should be easily doable, i will need dog food each week but should be no more than £45 each week as all meals are in the freezer, just fresh bits.Last week was crazy, had a lovely birthday and I still have a whole £15 left of birthday money going to try and make it last to do something with dd in the holidays, i have planned a free day at a club for dd...6 hours and she will love it, 3 free cinema tickets so will go and see the new ant man, i have a course myself for one day, meeting friends another and will plan a big walk out with oh and dd for another day so fairly low spend...actually no spend other than £3 parking at the walking place as its a lovely big walk and we will be there hours!Had a couple of relaxed evenings as oh has been at work, tomorrow work and school then dd has a club. Wednesday i have some admin i want to do and need to send a survey for £20 voucher...already allocated to decorating supplies and oh will make a start on decorating various rooms.I am feeling a bit worried as i am to the bone with finances atm but trying to stay optimistic, all bills have been paid which is a better position that I have been previously. Just need something to go our way a little I think. I should have a little tax rebate in april so that will help, prob less than £100 but better than nothing.Right off for a cuppa before bed!1

Right so a busy few days, i dont have a tax rebate but my gateway is saying i owe £219 i have worked it out as a wrong tax code, i plan on calling then on Monday and hopefully sorting it out.Survey wasnt done Wednesday but will be done and sent off tomorrow i also want to exchange some blinds for the living room. Oh has given me some money towards bills so not quite as bad now but not great.Tomorrow i willtake dd to club take drinks with meDo an online food shopAll food from storesChange blindsComplete and post surveyDo washing and dryingPut all clean washing awayGeneral houseworkWash my car, despite it being cold i can't afford to get it done at a car wash so i will do myselfSort out old bedding ready to donateGet meat out for Sunday dinner.Dd is having a friend over so may make a cake for a snack for themI am out next week (paid for) but will need to look at parking and also parking for my course in 2 weeks, will try and get it booked earlier so its done, budget £15 for both...still.less than a taxi 1 way as it is in the city, i am not a big drinker so wont bother with a drink so id rather drive.Creating a sorting jarToday has been a msd, i have spent £25 (I always round up) on a pair of work trousers, 3 summer work dresses and a blouse, i will need them and got them all from v!nted brand new with tags i had nothing last year that fitted when we had the heat so wanted to be prepared. I need to start sorting my house out so i can start on my clothes, even if they arent good enough to sell if i wont wear again i need space. I have been told about a sorting jar so i will add that to my list for tomorrow and work my way through the stuff that is in my house.Thats my plan so far....0

I am back! Finally as its half term i have some time back.Moneywise things are tight, my dad sent me some money to take dd out over half term so I will take her the end of the week.I have managed to plan something each day. Today we are meeting up with my friend and her kids for an hour. I also completed another survey, £20 came yesterday and i purchased the last of the decorating supplies via click and collect, i also need to return the blind when i am there. This holiday i want to focus on sorting my house where i can, it wont all get sorted but I want to get some aspects neater. Mainly cupboards and drawers, i may need a trip to the tip to take some of my rubbish but we will see. As my home is feeling really full atm.Todays plansNsdCollect decorating suppliesChange blindGeneral houseworkMeet a friendSort some cupboards and clutter from my houseTake 2 parcels to be sent off.Sort old bedding out and wash it to freshen it up.Make a cake to use eggsChange bedsTry to dry as much as possible outside. All meals from stores - meat already defrosting for tea.I am going to make a cuppa before i get started on the day.0

Had a lovely week off, managed to get my list done last week, oh has decorated one room and half of another. Changed blinds, and oh has put them up so one room is finished now. Money has been tight as my wages are late, payday is 26th going in tomorrow...not sure they can even do that but messed us up as we were waiting for them. Oh also didnt get paid this week as they forgot to put his holiday through...will be double next week. Had £25 left and used £12.50 clubcard points for some lunch stuff and fresh bits for tomorrow. I want to do a meal plan for the month tonight and do a shop for tomorrow. I also have some chicken that has been defrosted i will put it in the airfryer soon and make sandwiches for tomorrow's lunches.
Back to work tomorrow, all uniforms are ironed and ready, doesnt mean i want to go back to work but 5 weeks until the easter holidays. The week has gone fast but i have needed it and enjoyed not being as constraint with my time.
Last week i managed to sort some cupboards and drawers out, not loads but definitely some space created. Have a birthday this week so need to order my niece something, budget £10. I also have a party next week so i already have a bottle of something in will take that and only drink pop anyway.
Right off for a cuppa and to make a start on a meal plan.0 -
Payday today!
Unfortunately I didnt get chance to order shopping so popped in the shop £5 spent then ordered a uber food shop, was careful and only ordered things on offer for the same amount they are in the shop, actually they had a half price offer there were some items that were cheaper than direct. Not ideal but needs must, £25 spent on 27 items to try and last me.
I need to make a payment shortly and i have worked out whats left, should be a whole £45 left after bills this month. Will not touch my bank for anything i can help. I also need to order some vape juice online as its cheaper and will last me the month and so much cheaper than throwing money away on disposables.
I also need to look at car insurance for ohs car as its up in a few weeks and see if i can save some pennies...
Off for an hour to myself before oh comes home from work.0 -
So this week has been okish. I ordered a click and collect to top up the rest of the shopping, £50 spent so at £75 so far for the month. I am going to just buy weekly atm as oh cant give me all the food money until next week.
Today i need to do a list for this week and i think i will go and get it from l!dl as i need some things from hb too i will make a list and stick to it. I also want to sort out my cupboards this weekend theres plenty in there we will never eat. Home made burgers for tea later which i am looking forward to, will grab some cobs in the shopping too.
I think all my bills have been taken for a week now so whats in the bank is what i have for now, plan on not spending except for the shopping and some juice for my vape, as previously budgeted for. Dd does not have a club today so i have enjoyed a nice lie in, plan on getting up shortly and making a start and also going with oh and dd on a long walk this afternoon to burn some calories and get some fresh air.
Todays plans
General housework
Put clean washing away
Change beds
Do weekly meal plan and shopping list
Get shopping
Go for a walk with dd and oh
All food from stores
Go vape shop and get juice.
Wash and dry old bedding to donate....this is one that will take 10 mins to sort out and stilli havent done it.
Look at energy provider rebate from email yesterday- money for families struggling with their energy bills.
Clean out boot of car.
I think thats enough for now to get me started on this dull Saturday morning!1 -
The past 1.5 weeks have gone quick although being unwell with a horrible bug certainly made it feel slow at the time. On the plus side had lots of nsds as i was so unwell.
Done a top up shop this week, £36 spent and another £5 today on fresh bits I forgot on Saturday.
I will need petrol tomorrow as running low, i got my vape fluid, £10 spent and should hopefully last 3-4 weeks so saved some money there. Not done much except the usual really and being unwell. Me and oh did a big clean yesterday after days of me doing nothing so it is feeling much better, energy is a lot lower not i am back at work and tbh me and dd (as oh at work) havent really felt cold today the heating has been on maybe an hour energy currently at half what it was some days laat week but we were hit hard by the snow and i was already unwell we needed heat! I did feel awful that some people wouldnt have had that option unfortunately i am doing all i can to help but financially we are also struggling and some weeks I have had to put food on cc to see me through, if i had the means i would give more to food banks but i do do charity work, i give where I can and i think thats hopefully enough at least for now.
I must start coming on here more as it does help my accountability. Bit gutted as it looks like my £20 a month survey is ending, ive had a lot out of those vouchers over the past 2 years, at first it was like £50 a week for 5 weeks then went to £25 then to £20 but i put it to good use where i could so thats all that matters. Need to hunt out something similar to top it all up!
Time for a quick cuppa before bed.1 -
So last week i felt a lot more in control, i did spend £15 on 4 items on v!nted for summer, wont get anything else now for a while unless something i have goes completely and i cant fix.
Did a food shop, £80 spent so this month me and oh have spoke about my big shop at the start of the month so this week i plan on making my meal plan and the big shop ready for Monday.
Not done much else, was spoilt for mothers day, got some nice presents oh didnt spend much but was all thoughtful which to me is everything.
Off to have a hopefully little spend week if not a no spend week, may need petrol Thursday or Friday but will try and drag it out as much as possible.0
