Hello , My mother died a year ago so we are now starting probate , we need to check land registry and we have just done that , my mother has lived in the house all her life and bought it many many years ago , when we checked the land registry it shows only her solicitors name and no mention of her , he has also passed away many years ago , Why would only he be on the form and no mention of my mother ?

over 20 years ago she told us when she bought another property the same time , the other property is showing in her name but her house is in the family solicitors name for gods knows why and registered in 2008.Flugelhorn said:how curious - when was it bought?

I asked you to post your title number and an outline of the issue on the Land Registry questions thread as then someone who works at the Land Registry can take a look on their system and possibly provide more insight.ziggyboy4435 said:
