Either wait for the DQ from the court, or download one and fill it in. Do not use the DQ from the claimant's solicitors.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2

Hello, I wonder if I can ask another question. I read from previous posters about receiving copies of the evidence the claimants intend using in their claim such as a copy of the contract that gives them the authority to issue tickets and in a separate post, pictures of their signage etc. I have received a reply from GroupNexus following my SAR but it only contains a copy of the original parking charge notice sent to me (showing photos of the car entering and leaving the car park) and 2 subsequent reminders. In their reply email they say my name and address details along with details of the outstanding charges were passed to debt recovery plus ltd and direct collection bailiffs ltd who are their collection agents and the dates they passed the information and then refer me to their privacy policy for more information. My question is should I request this information from dcblegal who are making the claim on behalf of highview parking or is this the only evidence they will use? Thank you once again in advance.0

What will DRP and DCB know/have that the PPC (Group Nexus) don't have? It is normal to only submit a SAR to the PPC.1 -
" I read from previous posters about receiving copies of the evidence the claimants intend using in their claim such as a copy of the contract that gives them the authority to issue tickets and in a separate post, pictures of their signage etc. I have received a reply from GroupNexus following my SAR ........"
A SAR applies to only your own personal data - the contract is not your data1 -
As long as you have challenged landowner authority in your defence, you should get to see their alleged contract with the landowner at the witness statement/exhibits stage.I married my cousin. Hi Please can I ask for additional help as I have now received a court date of 16/3/23. The court fee is payable by 16/2/23 which is not a problem, I will pay that next week, and the witness statement deadline is 2/3/23 I believe, 14 days before the hearing? I am about to put together my witness statement and would be grateful for guidance and advice please?
Thank you in advance0 -

Can I also ask additionally I have received a letter from DCBLegal last year stating their client intends to proceed with the claim. They also continue with "in order to assist the court in achieving its overriding objective, our client may be prepared to settle in this case" and then provide a phone number and deadline of 7 days for me to discuss settlement with them. The question I have is, should I now send correspondence to them saying something along the lines of, "in order to assist the court etc I am prepared to accept settlement of this case by way of payment of £00.00 and look forward to hearing from them if they accept this offer? or something similar as I am not sure that I don't need to at least appear to discuss settling without going to court? You thoughts would be very much appreciated.0

"in order to assist the court in achieving its overriding objective, our client may be prepared to settle in this case"
What they actually mean is ... "We don't want to go to court because we don't think we will win"
And that will really assist the court .. as they say ?
You now wait ... no talking to DCBL anymore.
