Move from disgusting energy supplier

If you want ethical power your best bet is one of the three "deep green" suppliers - Ecotricity, Good Energy or Green Energy UK. I think - but haven't confirmed - that all three will take new customers.

Their ethical credentials are strong enough that Ofgem exempts them from the price cap.

In terms of international reaction and the potential consequences, yes. Dismissing the current crisis as some sort of social media fad is (sadly) absurd. 

The merits of otherwise of switching energy providers is an entirely different question but that's not what I responded to.
