What are you getting via freesat that you can’t get via the internet?
If you have the internet speed have a look at Roku1 -
Good question . I have no ordinary aerial and have to rely on sky dish for freesat .Martin_the_Unjust said:What are you getting via freesat that you can’t get via the internet?

I have internet obviously , but although I have heard the name Roku I must admit I don't understand it . Please elaborate
In all honesty I don't watch much tv ..but there is always the odd programme / documentary that catches the eye hence the recording feature required .Hope that makes sense
Thanks ..0 -
Have a look at a firestick wont record but most things are on catchup'1

The ability to record for one I'd imagine. Yes, I know there are plenty of catchup services available but have you tried watching something on All4 or ITV Hub without having to sit through the endless, repeated adverts, it really is a painful experience.Martin_the_Unjust said:What are you getting via freesat that you can’t get via the internet?

This ! One of the top of my list of annoyances . 🤬I'd better not say anymore 🤐😺shiraz99 said:

Absolutely this. Until the commercial TV boffins find a way to stop PVR users skipping over the adverts, a Humax box will occupy a valuable HDMI slot on my telly. Talking of which, is the new remake of the Ipcress file any good?1

Not if it doesn't have Michael Caine!
This is the review from IMDB. "How do you manage to take a great book and a great film and stomp on its head until it is rubbish? There is one screenwriter and one director, but this feels like another show made by a committee."2 -
