NOW Broadband Retentions

Hello,
My NOW Broadband contract is coming to an end shortly and I'm looking around for new deals.
I've received an email from NOW offering two options:
Stay on existing deal, but on a rolling contract - £25 a month for Super Fibre and Anytime Calls
Or lose the anytime calls, new 12 month contract - £22 for Super Fibre
The prices seem decent and it looks like I'd only be able to save a couple of pounds a month if I switch elsewhere through a cashback deal. I'm very reluctant to try Vodafone due to their customer service.
Just wondering if anyone has had any luck getting a better deal from NOW? I notice the offer for new customers is £20 a month for Super Fibre with Anytime Calls.
Thanks :-)

Hi,I posted this, in a similar thread, at the end of January:I phoned up NOW after my contract ran out and spoke to their cancellations department. I mentioned that I was looking to move to Vodafone Broadband and I was offered:
- Fab Fibre & Anytime Calls for £19
- Super Fibre & Anytime Calls for £20
I asked if they could do any better and was offered Super Fibre & Anytime Calls for £19.
They said they were unable to offer any deals on TV passes as this was handled by different agents - last year I was offered a free 6 month Entertainment pass on renewing my broadband contract.
However, be careful to double check and confirm what you are offered within your online account.
Twice I have agreed to free Anytime Calls only for it to be left off the contract confirmation e-mail. This has been easy to rectify by calling NOW but be sure on this before you accidently rack up any call charges.
If you upgrade your broadband package, you might also want to check NOW don’t change your landline number by accident as happened in my case (I did get it back though).
Maybe others have got a better deal but I hope this helps.2 -

Thanks for the information and apologies for my delay in replying!
I finally got round to calling NOW Broadband today. They initially said the best they could do was £21 a month for Super Fibre and Anytime Calls.
I said I could get cheaper via Vodafone Broadband or Shell Energy Broadband (with cashback).
They went away to speak with their manager and I was then offered an extra £1 off, so Super Fibre and Anytime Calls for £20 per month.
I'm happy with that, especially as it's £5 cheaper than what I'm paying now and it still includes the Anytime Calls. I wasn't keen on Vodafone or Shell, so NOW was the next cheapest for me and I haven't had any issues with them over the past year.
Thanks again. :-)

Just received the email from Now, so thought I would call them to see what they could do to keep my custom. Pointless endeavour as they didn't even entertain the idea of matching what other providers are offering, so looks like I'll be going elsewhere.
