Octopus winter workout - what did you save

I had an email from Octopus today saying I had used 5% less gas, which was £3.02 saving on my bill. It was hard to save even  that small amount as I already do many of the measures suggested. My annual usage is about 7,000 kwh, well below average.  My usage would have increased if I maintained the minimum teperature of 18 degrees suggested by Octopus.

Octopus reported some people saving 20% on their usage, I just don't know how they did it unless they had a very high usage previously.

Out of interest, what savings did any one else achieve?

26% for us. However that's because they're using estimated figures that go back a year and we had the boiler replaced and cavity wall insulation done in the summer so gas usage was going to be lower anyway this winter.

Expecting about 7 quid back in credit. Woo, that'll keep the wolf from the door   :/

Apparently I used 82% less gas! Saving nearly £350! And I get £7.10 back in credit.
If only it was based on accurate meter readings though!

    YOU USED
    11% less gas

    YOU SAVED
    £32.15 from your bills
    AND
    150kg in CO2 emissions

    It was difficult.

Thank heavens for my heated throw and a mild winter.

Octopus still project my annual usage as...."£4,196.70

Based on your estimated annual usage, not the figures you gave when signing up."which is beyond stupid lol.

Your estimated annual cost £481.80 a year for electricity £981.86 a year for gas.

    I am a little confused.

If you can tell us your estimated annual consumption figures for gas and electricity, we can give you a sanity check.

                         44 kg.  in CO2

we did find it interesting,  quite hard work, leant a little,    but I'm always on energy conservation anyway.

During 12 weeks I used about 480kwh - My incentive was make account balance last as long as possible, saw the £7.10 split as 27 days no standing charge lol - has been very mild, fab winter sun
    50% less gas
YOU SAVED £16.47 from your bills

I am trying to find it but all I can see is the money they are estimating I will spend. I am £50 in debit at the moment but I upped my DD to £180 a month ago so I think that is petty normal for this time of year and my next payment goes out on 24th. I will see if I Can see the annual consumption.

    Found it!

I don't know if this helps but I was with Igloo until August last year until switching to Avro. In August, Igloo said my projected usage was 1998.4kwh electric and 2407.6 gas.

    Octopus are quoting
    Electric 1935.7 kwh
    Gas 22396 kwh

I have been submitting regular  meter readings
