I filled up at Tesco's this week with E5, UK Midlands....The vast majority of motors will be fine with E10, I use E5 because the performance is slightly better, but, if it became unavailable, no worries...Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Super unleaded is still E5.TadleyBaggie said:E5 unleaded hasn’t been available anywhere for around 6 month, so shouldn’t have been much of a surprise.
'Super' or otherwise, it's still unleaded.

So was that 95 octane or 99? If it was 95 then Tesco themselves, as I previously pointed out, say they no longer sell it. Perhaps the filling station haven't updated their signage and it is in fact E10 95 they're selling...RumRat said:I filled up at Tesco's this week with E5, UK Midlands....T

I think this single poster may be related to the previous single poster in the motoring thread waging a campaign against E10 petrol.

Morrisons and Asda have only ever sold standard unleaded and diesel not super as far as I'm aware so nothing new there.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

Funny they sell E5 unleaded at our local Morrisons. (super unleaded)PennyMann1714 said:I just want to warn anyone who wants to use the 7p off vouchers given out at Morrisons that they ONLY sell E10 and DIESEL petrol.
My husband just went to use a voucher and had to queue for quite a while and then found that they did not sell any petrol that was suitable for our car.
So make sure you can E10 or DIESEL petrol before you go
E5 UNLEADED OR SUPER UNLEADED IS NOT AVAILABLE

So to sum up this tedious thread, if you want/need to put a particular fuel in your vehicle and you intend to take advantage of a voucher offer obtainable at an attached supermarket then make sure the filling station has your particular fuel of choice in stock first.
