Thank you all for your replies. This is being done through the solicitors. We had listed white goods as optional in the information form. I was about to reply to the solicitor's email confirming that the buyers were interested in buying the washing machine when I thought I didn't want to get into the situation where they paid for it and after (eg.) 3 uses it broke down and they wanted their money back. Its only £100 so not worth lots of hassle.No. 5 in the 'Save 12k for 2021' thread.

Blimey the hardest part is getting rid of an old washing machine, you're lucky they'll have it at all.
As a favour we said the vendors could leave their dishwasher and a cupboard because they'd got built in ones at their new property.
They thanked us with a bottle of gin ☺️
