EON Next -Flex

I had a fixed tariff which ended the middle of last month. I was paying £80 and they offered a version tariff which was approx £140 per month as well as i what i thought was a fixed tariff paying £84 per month called next flex. So we transferred to the new one then received an email about the changes come April and would now offer V11.
Asked for explanation from EON eventually said i was on a variable tariff!
when reviewing my account now they are saying the estimate of usage currently is £74! On this existing tariff but suggesting NextFlex at £1432 pa with £119 per month !
im confused still but it would seem that my usage is still more than the cap when I thought we don’t use much.
Appreciate lots going on with government but this energy increase is a nightmare for us all. The energy firms have so much profit and the government haven’t stepped in like France.
the worrying thing is I can’t see this reducing down…..

NextFlex is their standard variable tariff. If you are still being offered the V11 12-month fix, it might be worth taking; it has the same rates as NextFlex but woin't change in October (when we're expecting another rise).N. I’ve just had a message to say V11 no longer available. Struggling now what to do the new offer is still a flex tarriff and is variable0

I got the same email. Thought I'd signed up for a 1year deal last October, on checking all my emails sadly not as near the bottom it says something like " this can change". Then watched Martins video again. I would cry but that is pointless. I looked at the 2 year deal last year and the tariffs were more than double, I may rue my decision later this year. Need Spring to be warmer this year, above 11 centigrade consistently can turn the heating off.

My mums is a pensioner and was being charged £70 per month for Gas n Electric from Eon, they sent a letter to say it was going up to £100 pcm in October. I checked her online account and she had been in credit for over a year, we asked for £250 refund, which we got, and they lowered her bill back down to £50 pcm for dual fuel. Don't always accept the !!!!!!.0
