It was just a small mistake, the middle name had one too many letters.
I spent about 20 hours on the phone to people abroad who said 'Don't worry this will definitely be fixed', whereupon nothing happened.
Submitted the form, emailed and did everything right, for nothing to happen.
I could have spent more money and gone with a UK based agency, and had this problem fixed in 5 minutes.
Sometimes it does not pay to be save a little money!
Try calling the airline direct & explain the issue.

I made the mistake of not writing the name of SWMBO correctly on a booking. Jean on the booking Jeannie on the passport. Luckily the company were willing to change it at the airport, otherwise she wouldn't have been able to fly.

My daughter went double barrelled and changed her name from Grotbags XXX to Grotbags YYY-XXX.
Flights booked as XXX, passport in YYY-XXX and BA were happy that that was close enough.0 -
I had a very similar issue 2 years ago. The only thing that worked was ranting on Twitter about how rubbish they were. I only set up the Twitter account to do this.I got a phone call within 24 hours0

Never been on Twitter, but if it gets EXPEDIA to provide customer service, perhaps I'll try, particularly now Musk has taken over.
