Cheap Sim Deals April Increase

Hi i'm looking to change from rolling sim only deal (Approx £10 month)to a cheaper 12 month one. I see one listed for £6 a month but that it will increase in April if i join now. Approx £6.70
What i'm wondering is once the annual increase has happened, will the new cheap sim deals have increased for new customers or stay at £6 per month?
Is it better for me to wait until after the price increase in April to switch as this would be cheaper in the long run if the original £6 per month is still available? I know it's not a massive saving but look after the pennies etc
I have my PAC code but my current deal is under a relatives name/DOB, I assume it's fine to use this PAC code under my name/dob? As I want it tied to my name/account now.
Sorry if my description above isn't particularly clear.
Cheers for any help.
Brian
