Happy birthday!Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN1

Just lost all my typing
Boo. Will start again then.
UU- L'Oreal Infallible 24hr Freshwear foundation- ivory: great product, but this is not quite the right shade- ivory rose suits me better, and I have one of these already as I bought both to try for the wedding last Oct. I've been working on using up this one on days I'm WFH/not doing anything- though it'd be perfectly fine to wear out anyway tbh as it's a super close match. Still have some of the Ivory rose and the Urban Decay one, so no need to buy anymore foundation right now.
- L'Oreal Bambi Eye waterproof mascara- black: HG, I love this mascara. I wore this at my wedding, gives you great lashes and no panda eye as the day wears on- doesn't budge. Technically there is some left, but it's a bit dry and getting a hassle to use, plus a bit old now, so it's done.
- TBS Peach Melba Home Fragrance oil: not skincare, but is one of my projects to finish, so hope no one minds me mentioning it. One more old one I don't love to get through, and then I can repurchase the lemongrass one I love!
Almost out of sunscreen, so will be purchasing shortly. Problem is the one I like is Korean and it's out of stock on the UK websites, so would have to order from YesStyle, and I'm not shipping one product all the way from Korea- that's so wasteful. If I do it, I will try and add only items that I don't have that type of thing/ingredient (I am intrigued by sea buckthorn) or cannot get on the UK sites, and then I wouldn't need to order from them again for ages. Wish me luck (or should I say strength?)! Alternatively I could just order a sunscreen from Boots.....

Thanks for the birthday wishes.I got my Boots vouchers in the post yesterday and on the front of the envelope it said I had £18 in points, I'd no idea, I'm sure it's wrong, anyway if it is right that will come in very handy later in the year as I've given myself a £60 budget for the rest of the year, I've been buying a bit more recently and I don't want to get back into old habits.I also got the Body Shop £5 reward so the next time I'm in town I will pick up the cleansing butter.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I have a uuBalance Me Glamour Lip Balm - this was a freebie with Glamour magazine about 100 years ago. It was still fine though, not the biggest fan of it really as it was too liquidy and had a deep red tint, the tint was good but the liquidity of it meant it moved about too much and could get messy.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

UUs:
Bakuchiol tester serum: Was a free beauty trial so not sure of brand. Would use a similar serum in future.
Glow teeth whitening toothpaste: WNBA as it has no fluoride. Also quite expensive when not on sale.
Superdrug me+ Spf 30 drops. Prefer these types of sunscreen as it can facial oil and does not leave whitecast. WNBA though as stings eyes slightly and doesn't provide full UVA coverage.
Ins:
Superdrug hot cloth cleanser-HG

uuPhilosophy Raspberry Glazed Shower Gel 480ml - this is a favourite scent, I have one more in the stash I think then that is it in this scent.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hi everyone. Keep meaning to stop by and update but life has been busy.
I've sold one No7 bronzer palette, GA one cleanser to a friend, UU'ed Emma Harding Facial Spritz, and Nip Fab Glycolic daily pads meanwhile!

- The Body Shop Black Musk Eau De Toilette: this lasted a looooooooong time, and then when I thought it was finished it kept puffing out a bit more, but now it's all gone. A nice every day scent, WBA. Actually have a smaller one of these that I had been using whilst the tiny tiny dregs of this one were sat there hogging space on my shelf- so ridiculous, so it's all gone now! :-
INs- Isntree- Onion Newpair Essence Toner: ok, sounds weird I know, but apparently it has no smell. Had a couple of spots recently (wrinkles AND spots, lovely), more than normal, so wanted something to help with that. And this is meant to be good for that as it's anti-bacterial/microbial, soothing, and helps with dark marks left after.
- The INKEY List Tranexamic Acid Night Treatment: for the dark marks from spots- my skin is so pale, the mark lasts FOREVER, and tranexamic acid is meant to be great for reducing this. Have no other products with tranexamic acid and I have wanted to try it for a while, so seemed a good time to start what with all the marks on my face right now! Also has acai and vitamin C derivative, so overall should be good for brightening.
- Ambre Solaire Super UV Anti Dark Spots & Anti Pollution Face Fluid SPF50+: my current SPF is one of two uses away from being finished and this is what I bought to replace. Is mean to be a dupe for the la Roche Posay one but half the price, so we'll see. I'm sad not to buy the Korean one I wanted, but that'd have been a lot more money and shipping, so this time round I decided to try one from Boots. I can get the other one next time.
- Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive Hydrating Face Sun Cream Mist SPF50: for reapplications during the day. SPF is your BFF, so needs must.

- No 7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Night Cream: WBA, this is nice, I like this night cream- this was either my second or third tub. It feels lovely when you apply it, has a nice scent that's not too heavy or irritating, and I wake up with soft skin. Has vitamins A, C (a derivative so not harsh) & E, peptides and shea butter.
My primer and face powder are still clinging on, but soon, soon they will be done! Ditto my eye cream.Jan Grocery Challenge 2023: £181.18/£400
