    Hi

I've zoomed into the picture they sent us and I'm only seeing reflections etc not any door damage or creasing but maybe I'm missing something obvious?

This is the only photo they sent us so no proof at this stage that this is our car etc and I don't have anything from my side.

    That's not a reflection, its a dent
I see, does this look like something that could be caused by wind? If this is a dent I'm struggling to see why the insurance doesn't cover it
Yes, by wind catching the door and blowing it fully open - the fold you can see in the door is the usual result of this.

It’s pretty clear in the picture, and similar happened to my old Clio.

It does look like the wind caught the door and blew it open. Did that happen while you had the car?

edit, just seen you say that didn’t happen but you didn’t take pics when you picked the car up so may be difficult to dispute

We have similar on several of our vans, so it looks perfectly reasonable that it could be the reason for this type of damage being in this location.

Upsetting if the damage was only done when the car rental chap unlocked and opened the car door to check the mileage and fuel gage.

Difficult to prove the damage was done post return and not during the rental period. Especially without a return inspection or photos of the car are drop off.
