Retailer not refunding

Hi, I’m looking for some advice, I purchased some clothes from Ultamodan online back in August 2021 on my debit card. After 4 weeks the items weren’t dispatched so I cancelled the order. I have chased the refund regularly and still haven’t received it. It doesn’t look like they’re a member of a trade association or a dispute resolution organisation. Does anyone know what my rights and next steps are?

Are they a uk company? Are they still trading? 
How much were the goods?

As regards next steps - most simple a chargeback claim to your bank.

Less simple - Letter Before Action and sue them under The Consumer Contract (Information, Cancellation and Addittional Charges) Regulations 2013.  Read sections 29 - 34.

AS regards your rights, goods must be delivered without undue delay and in any case within 30 dys - unless otherwise agreed.

Good point.  Just one of the several reasons I'm not a fan of chargeback.  (Don't know why I mentioned it really... )

You could try a chargeback. You’re likely to be told your out of time.
if it was uk you could take them to court, but the fact that they are Chinese makes that difficult and almost impossible.

for future reference be aware you have protection with cards but only if you act in time.

There are +2300 companies currently being operated from that address, at best it is a mailbox

It’s very common for ltd companies to use a mailbox. I run one and it’s simply privacy, nothing sinister.

It's a company worth 8k and an address to mask it.s true location

It has similar addresses all over the world.

But the biggest giveaway is the postage times are around 35 days.
