I've cancelled my sky TV, broadband and phone package.
I don't want any TV package, just broadband and phone line.

Do I need any information other than my landline number from sky to start somewhere else?

I've never cancelled sky for 13 years and I can go without BB and phone line whilst I look for deals but I wanted to ask if it'll be easier to swap or set a new provider before the end of the contract with sky? Or doesn't it matter.

Just your numbe, your new supplier will take care of everything else (incl. contacting Sky).

If the Sky cancellation is in effect ,a new supplier won't be able to place an order - so it will delay the changeover plus you may not be able to keep your old phone number if that's important to you.

 I don't use my home phone and I'll wait until after the 25th when my whole sky.package will be over and done with.

I cancelled my sky package, bought a Freesat box . Got a good deal with talk talk for internet £20 a month and £80 gift Mastercard voucher a saving of £55 a month 👍

Thanks everyone. Sky all cancelled. 
I now have virgin broadband installed at £22.95 a month for 18 months but with a bill credit of £100. So its  £17.39 a month.
