I'm glad I'm not the only one dealing with this sh**show of a system 😄

It's been close to 18 months since I started this process and they won't give me a complaints number either - definitely into ombudsmen territory iI think

I have had the cursed experience of forgetting my User ID which they assure me is in an email which is absolutely not the case, only the Supplier ID

So with a disabled account - which is apparently "my fault" - I can't set up banking

Which I'm told is a problem for them to make payments - no !!!!!! sherlock!

I don't want to try and switch suppliers as I'm worried the 18 months of unpaid SEG (however klittle that is) would just disappear into the ether

    !!!!!!

You have to laugh, in civilised countries you get the whole amount generated credited to your account (as if the meter was "running backwards") in Blighty you get ripped off on the solar panel installation and then bent over when you try to get a fraction of the value of the electricity generated back...

Octopus are buying my electricity at 15p and I am buying theirs for 16.89p.

So although I am only get a fraction back as it's a big fraction I can't really see that I am being ripped off.

Over the last 28 days with Octopus my average unit cost has been 7.05p and I've been paid 15p for export. Seems I'm ripping them off?

In case anyone may be following this, I gave up trying to get any sense from Iberdrola and switched my FIT contract to my current energy supplier, Octopus. As long as the payments continue that'll be ok by me.

Octopus buy your exported electricity for 12p/kWh, same rate whenever you export, whether they need it or not. Or they could buy on the wholesale market for around 1/2 that price, buying exactly what they need.
