Evening allStrange day today - dog had to go to the vet's, and because he is so uncooperative he had to stay in to be sedated so that they could examine him properly. Couldn't really pinpoint anything wrong, but a couple of possibilities, including that he may have to go in again for a proper anaesthetic, x rays and blood tests. However, he spent the day being fed Roy*l C*nin tinned food, after eating nothing for 2 days. And he won't touch tinned food as a rule. I have painkiller meds for him, and need to try to get a urine sample on Friday morning to take in to the vet's, so wish me luck with that He seems fine at the moment, looking for yet more food and playing with his toys.Sent OH to do the shopping as I was waiting in for the vet to ring. He spent more than I would have done, and managed to get several items dated today, so what with the vet's bill, an expensive day all round, but it is what it isOrdered a tray of the Roy*l dog food from Am*zon, as I had vouchers from surveys, and it was cheaper anyway than buying it from the vet's. Paid £5.26 in actual money for a tray of 12 tins of expensive dog food, so that was ok. Let's hope the little wretch will eat it!DD came round this morning - nice to see her, as she has been away for a few days. I gave her some spare seeds that I sorted out the other day, some for her allotment, and some to use with the special needs teens that she teaches. I can now see what is in my seed tinAn unwanted item was collected by a freecycler, so that has freed up a little bit of space in the garage.Made chicken pesto for dinner, as I had all the ingredients. A bit filling for me tbh, but OH enjoyed it.2

Evening all,So I got a letter from aqua offering a payment of £249 instead of £400 that I owed two weeks ago. Annoyingly they sent the letter on the 18th, it's only just arrived and they want payment by 4th March. I can't afford it so I plan on waiting until my car is fixed and phone them this time to offer payment as it will be quicker.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. How annoying to get the letter so late after you have allocated your budgets for the next month @BlueJ94 - hope they keep the offer open for when you have the money available.Day out to see DD1 and her gorgeous new house today, first time I have seen it since it ceased to be a building site just after Christmas I have serious kitchen envy.Dog seems ok after the enormous vets bill. Not really back to normal, but certainly ok. I am thinking he is perhaps having some spinal problems - he had paralysis last year and a big operation (really HUGE enormous vet's bill that was!). He certainly isn't paralysed, but I am wondering if he is having a bit of a setback, as he is slow out on walks and sometimes holds up one rear leg. On the other hand he also races off down the garden barking and runs around indoors with his toys. He came with us today, though I did keep him either on a lead or in his crate in the car, as he isn't supposed to run about too much, and I knew he would be very excited to see DD1's dog.We had lunch with DD1 and her husband, and I warmed up some leftovers for dinner when we got back.Early night coming up tonight I think, as I am tired and have to work in the morning.Need to do the washing up first though.2

I know @DawnW it's so annoying! But as I've paid some extra money this month towards it I'm hoping that they still offer a lower settlement. Hopefully so!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.
