    Maybe a stupid question, so apologies if it is, but if you want a tile finish, why not just get tiles? Is there a particular reason you must have the panels?

    Personally I would pay the extra and get real tiles. I can see the appeal of the plastic panels as being cheap and easy to fit, but have never seen any that really looked that nice when you look at them closely. Unless you can do the whole area with one panel, the joints always show and look a bit untidy and obvious

    to be honest the only reason i was looking at panels instead of tiles was ease of fitting....but then again im not going to be the one fitting...so maybe tiles it is :-)

    I would go for that. I think real tiles give a much better finish and don't look like someone has just done it on the cheap

    Yes. If getting a tiler in then that’s best.
    Panels suit me fine as I’m DIY’ing my bathroom and have no experience with tiling.
