LLOYDS BANK CASHBACK CREDIT CARD - good when travelling overseas?

Options
Hello, I wondered if the above card was useful for travelling overseas, or if the currency exchange fees would make it a bad choice. Thank you!

You could use it with a Curve card to get both the cashback and fee-free foreign currency.

I hadn't heard of Curve. Is that for withdrawals? I really meant for paying for everyday things which would give me cash back on every purchase. I usually use Monzo or Revolut to withdraw abroad.

OK, thank you. But is the Lloyds cashback card (on its own) good for purchases when travelling?

    2.95% exchange markup.

You can use Curve like a debit/credit card to pay for things. You might pay a restaurant bill in Euro for the equivalent of ten pounds. Curve would immediately charge your linked card (in this case Lloyds cashback) with ten pounds in sterling, which Lloyds would see as a purchase so you would get the cash-back without the foreign exchange charge.

You can do the same thing to withdraw cash abroad, but are limited to £200/day and there is an extra fee if you draw cash during weekends.
