Estate Agent Lying

If you read the contracts of most 'online' estate agents, most of them are focussed around advertising your property (and maybe passing messages) - i.e. once they've put your property advert online, they've pretty much completed the contract, and their job is done.

With a 'traditional' estate agent contracts, they're more focussed in introducing buyers and completing a sale. So their job isn't done until the sale reaches completion.

If you compare the 2 types of contract, they're usually very different.

Every single time I have dealt with an estate agent they have been exactly like that and worse. They are the worst of the lot. You should not have paid them anything until it was all done.
