Thrugelmir said:The EA sold your property twice and because of matters beyond their control you want a refund now it's fallen through again. While you play unnecessary games . The EA is considered untrustworthy. Perhaps they sussed you out. They sussed us out and therefore they didn't offer both our "secret shoppers" a viewing?Maybe I wasn't clear... If it wasn't for for the offer being already on the table I would have let them go straight away, just because of that we stayed with them and now where we are bout to put it back on the market I definetely want nothing to do with them and want to manage all enquries myself, or with a new agent that might be bit more thrustworthy?I can't wonder everytime I speak to them if they are lying or not...0

They have put an advert on Rightmove and you had lots of viewings.
So what's wrong with the property ?I said the property is tricky to sell, we know that, it's not about the sales not going through but about potenial buyers not even being offered a viewing..0 -

Have you asked them why some people who you know couldn't get a viewing? What did they say?

No, keeping that for the complaint

Don't expect any goodwill gesture once they have sold your house and you then complain. The time to complain is now.

well you are where you are but complaining after the event is pointless.
If your house has a niche market online agents should not have been instructed. You need a local EA who has people on their books who would be interested in a niche property.
Without details of the contract it's impossible to advise what you can do but from the small amount of info I think you have pretty much got what you paid for... a listing on RM0 -

In one breath, you accuse the EA of "lying", but in the next, you're getting two folks to lie to the EA about wanting to buy the house from you.....

I know I've asked before, but why did you chose them? You haven't replied?
If it's their reputation, then you need to trust in their services to get that reputation, speak to them, build up that rapport again.
If it was their selling skills, then yes they have sold your house 2 times, it's not their fault the buyer pulled out.
If it was their reviews, then you must be a blip, put anomaly and you need to give it time. They have sold it 2 times, they will do it again.
Until we know why you picked them and what was wrong with the other companies we can't say why to stay etc.
But complaining after the event is not the time.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

OP - I am not sure what you were expecting from an online EA who you pay up front.
Its like the people who use a cheap online conveyancer and then complain they can never get hold of them and the process is taking forever. You are expecting a Tom Ford quality suit when you have only paid for an M&S one.

You instructed them to sell your house, they sold your house?! How much did you pay them? Its probably not worth the hassle trying to get compensation mainly because I don't think you will get anything.0
