Electricity prices are set by the market rate, how it was generated is irrelevant. There's still lots of gas powered stations in use so it does affect electricity prices.0

Because you are not 100% renewable, that is just a marketing gimmick. You get the same mix of electricity as everybody else.0

Although the actual electrons are the same, a lot a the renewableness is achieved by carbon off-setting. The exception is with the "real" green suppliers, like Ecotricity and Good Energy, but they are not subject to the Ofgem cap and are even more expensive than anybody else, at present.

My electric is 100% renewables but I guess they are charging the higher rates of gas produced electricity.Someone please tell me what money is0
