Broadband comparison

I find it difficult to use the comparisons given as these only seem to give a straight comparison using speed but don’t seem to take into account other benefits. For example I get cloud and antivirus protection, which if not included would have a significant cost. The comparisons on MSE should include these benefits

Apologies if this is obvious but having your cloud storage with your broadband supplier is not a good idea for anything other than unimportant casual storage. Access to this storage goes away if you switch away from them and unwinding this storage to another cloud or to local storage is not trivial. Same is true of their email service. 

I wouldn't consider provision of anti-virus software as anything other than a nice-to-have. Plenty of good free products available and many would consider the free protection provided by Windows etc to be sufficient.

Well you don't need anti-virus protection because Windows 10 has it all done for you.

Cloud backup is all very nice but you need to check what happens to that when you move away.  Because chances are, if you're with Dalek Broadband and you move away to Cypermen Broadband, you'll lose your cloud with Dalek.

These are not standard "benefits" for the budget end of the market.  The anti-virus may be, but the cloud often isn't.
