Look again at the summary - the tariff type is "Variable" and "Prices may increase or decrease at any time. We will give you 30 days advance notice befoe we increase your prices.
It is not "Fixed"Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill1 -
But its not unreasonable for a lay person to assume that if it says price is guaranteed until 31 July that that actually means that the rates will stay at that price until then....and that BG have now sneakily (without any notification or apology) removed the end date on Price Guaranteed Until over 2 months after publishing and sending out the original and are laying claim that it was a typo suggests that they also think that people will have had that interpretation (let alone the fact that a number of their agents that have told people that the tariff is fixed until end of July...)0

Hi followers, after many months of a stand off with British gas from my previous posts I took them to the ombudsman as a result of the withdrawal of my unit rate to the 31st july in my other posts you will see, I was originally offered £50 raised to £75 then when the ombudsman was involved raised to £100 I rejected all offers as I 100% knew I was right, today I have been awarded the sum of £438 stay strong and persistence is key guys 👍☺️

There was a similar "success" story a couple of days ago but BG appealed the O.E decision. I think the customer "won" the appeal but whether BG will pay ??1

I also won my case before the Ombudsman and was awarded £600 for lost savings due to missile tariff and £50 for handling of the complaint. BG has accepted the outcome and the £650 credit is already in my account.0
