Ebookers/Expedia Flight change...where do I stand?

Hi all,
Wondering if someone might be able to shed some light on a situation I've got currently going on with Ebookers.
We booked a flight through them a while back to fly to Florida in April of this year. In most recent weeks, the flight number, times and lay over times have changed dramatically.
In total there has been 9 changes to our flight, with our flight arrival time at our destination now being an hour and 15 minutes later, and our return journey having something similar.
When my partner booked the flight, she didn't realise she was booking the cheapest of the cheap long haul flight being Economy light with Virgin via Ebookers, we've since found out we can add 23kg suitcases on when we get to the airport.
So with so many changes to our original booking, where do we stand on trying to get the flights altered? We've tried phoning them a number of times over the past few days, as in my mind the contract for the original booking has now changed and it's down to the airline/agent to find us a more suitable flight time at no extra charge.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

I am afraid you are mistaken regarding the agents obligation.
Had the flight been cancelled or a ‘significant’ rescheduling then the airline would perhaps offer options to change, but not for what is just a 1h15m change. As Caz3121 highlights, this is not classed as a significant change.
If you want EBookers to look and book alternatives, they will but this won’t be cheap.
EBookers I feel would have been clear on the ticket inclusions at time of selection and booking. Sorry your wife missed this and booked the cheaper Economy Lite fare with no checked baggage.
If you have the airline booking reference you might be able at this stage to access your reservation and add the baggage on now, rather than at the airport, or at least do so during online checkin.0
