When people help me, I will always thank them and even more importantly update any new developments.
This morning I rang Sky told them I'm leaving but gave them a little backstory about rising costs/etc.
TBH, I'm shocked and waiting for the email confirmation and took the guys name and location re the agreement.
In place of my a current just shy of 100 pounds a month inc discounts then approx 10% on top of that we have been offered and agreed
The same packages as are now. Plus two Sky Q boxes in place of our Sky HD at an incredible 70+ but under 75 18 month deal.
IMO, it's who you speak to as I rang twice spoke to a young lady first call she said there were no discounts and I put the phone down and the second call a moment afterwards got us the above.
Btw, I got my young wife to call as she can be charming but I'm sure that has nothing to do with it, lol.
I hope the above helps and thanks to all here.

To be honest Sky is pretty crap at the moment anyway. Most channels show repeats and the movie channels seem to repeat a lot now - very few new films ever added.
We cancelled a few years back and have Freesat and Netflix.0 -
True but they have us hooked and we quite like the sky Q as our son has it and not 100% sure I think you get certain apps with it or ability to laod up. Out sony tv a flagship model about 5 years old stopped updating the apps a while back and we use that little, 3 inch square NOW TV box for the apps youtbue, prime etc.laurajones81 said:To be honest Sky is pretty crap at the moment anyway.
