    Hi,
you'll just need to wait, we're all in the same situation, would think final PfP statement will come from the administrators.
You would still owe PfP a bit from their last bill until BG took over.
Here's more reading for you, LINK1, and LINK2.

How come B/G can credit my account but not supply a bill or at least proof of amount of credit I had with PFP.

BG don't have any control over PfP accounts. If the administrators report there is a credit then BG put that amount to your account and claim it back from the Ofgem SoLR fund which, ultimately goes on all our electricity bills as a component of the daily charge. That's why the April cap prices are, in part, rising so steeply.
  • BG can query this with PE I did this on Friday as hadn’t even received my final bill, the next day I had my final bill emailed from PE so BG obviously can help with this, I am now going to be waiting for my credit to be transferred to my BG account so I hope,

Just received a paper final statement from PfP. I wonder how long I'll have to wait for my cheque for £3.20 from BG?

I received a statement from PFP Energy (In Administration).  They have transferred a credit of about £115 to British Gas.   But I was over £450 in credit.

The statement has no contact details on how to dispute this balance.   Has anyone any idea how to move forwards please?

Does the statement include the final bill with meter readings etc.? That should reconcile to the balance they have told BG you are owed (there is no transfer of funds, they just tell BG what you are owed)

The statement contains a "Balance Last Statement" of £53.68, which I believe to be about £400 light.  It is this that I want to dispute.
The remainder of the Statement is consistent with that opening balance.   But that opening balance is wrong.

    Thanks

My credit was low too. I contacted BG and they said they can't contact PFP but would put a note on my account to say I think it's wrong. Not sure what happens now.

I guess I could try writing to the postal address for administrators, or try the Ombudsman.  It's BG I won't be paying though so it will get messy.

How did you contact BG?  I can't ever get through ....
